Slice of Culture is a New Jersey-based news site created by Adrienne Romero And Neidy Gutierrez, covering their community and its diverse cultures. Kai DeJesus was their Civic Engagement Storyteller in Spring 2023, writing pieces about issues that affect the everyday citizen.

The Loudest Station in the Nation

89.5 FM WSOU is a modern active rock station serving the New York and New Jersey area. They are credited with giving some of the first-ever airplay to bands such as My Chemical Romance and Smashing Pumpkins, but now play metal. Kai DeJesus- or DJ DJ, as they're known on air- was their social media manager as well as their DJ.
